<p>Event sets the stage for community support in overcoming addiction. Fresh Start is a not-for-profit addiction and substance use disorder recovery program based in Subiaco, Western Australia.</p>
<p>Raising for Recovery is Fresh Start’s end of financial year fundraiser where every dollar raised goes to providing a future free from the effects of addiction and substance use disorder for individuals, families and communities. The funds raised during this event will go towards Fresh Start facilities, patients and resources such as short-term accommodation, clinical facilities and equipment, mental health services, long term residential recovery accommodation and provision of training, upskilling and housing for clients to prepare them for reintegration into the workforce and community.</p>

When: Saturday, June 22, 2024 | 7pm until 11pm<br />

<p>Raising for Recovery is set to make a significant impact on the WA community through supporting individuals and their families who are struggling with addiction and substance use disorders. It will be WA’s biggest fundraising event to support people in recovery, making safer, healthier and happier, people, homes and communities.</p>
<p>Western Australia is in a crisis of addiction and substance use disorders with the state topping the country’s fatal drug overdoses in 2021. Fresh Start is looking to treat the cause of this statistic through providing treatment and support to people and their families who are struggling with addiction.</p>
<p>Fresh Start invites all leaders of change to come together for Raising for Recovery to support Fresh Start and the necessary work we provide to the community to create a future free from the effects of addiction and substance use disorders for individuals, families and communities.</p>
