15 years after the Subiaco Pavilion Markets shut its doors, the western suburb is set to welcome back a brand new community meeting place every Saturday night over summer – the Subi Night Market.

From the same team behind the beloved Scarborough Sunset Markets, from November 11 to April 6 Market Square in Subi will transform into a leafy green hub of vibrant flavours, sustainable fashion, local artists, live music and loads more.

Developed as a traditional ‘market square’, Subi Night Market will provide a leafy, central space where locals and visitors alike can come together in celebration of a community that honours great food, family connection and live music

Secondhand goods lovers can get lost in ‘Preloved Lane’ featuring Perth’s best vintage sellers and there’ll be a Parisian bistro-style tables and chairs to listen to live music while enjoying delicious food and drink, including spirits from Subi-fave Spirit of Little Things Gin.

Food-wise you’ll find a mix of over 40 international cuisines to choose from, including plenty of Insta-worthy desserts, of course!

It’s not all food and drink though, with local musicians providing the a chilled, sophisticated soundtrack to your balmy summer’s evening of food and family fun, with furry friends very welcome.

“The City is proud to be supporting the night markets to bring additional buzz and vibrancy to Subiaco over the summer months,” said City of Subiaco Mayor David McMullen. “I encourage everyone to come along on a warm summer Saturday and spend the rest of the afternoon or evening exploring Subiaco’s many great restaurants, retailers and bars.”

“We are working hard to play our part in revitalising Subiaco through our Subi East redevelopment and are proud to support community focussed activities like this which add to Subi’s already impressive suite of cultural and entertainment options,” added Fiona Barclay, DevelopmentWA Acting CEO.
