Since beginning as a humble community festival way back in 1998, Joondalup Festival has become one of the must-visits on the Perth events calendar, featuring spectacular installations and performances from all parts of Australia. And while the festival has taken an understandable break of the past couple of years, 2022 sees it return with a new, revamped format over three huge weeks.

Kicking off Friday 11 March until Saturday 2 April, visitors will be treated to a diverse array of events and experiences popping up around the northern suburbs, showcasing WA’s vibrant art, culture and performance community.

The full program is available to check out now via the Joondalup Festival Website, with some highlights including:

Gold Digger Tent

The Gold Digger Tent moves from the Perth Cultural Centre to take up residence as part of the Joondalup Festival Hub at Hillarys Boat Harbour. There you’ll find an absolutely stacked program of comedy, cabaret and musical performances basically every night of opening week. Check the full program here.
