We’ve Teamed Up With Ocean Zone To Make The Ultimate West Oz-Themed Boardshorts!

After teaming up with local legends Oli. Clothing earlier this year to raise money for WA-based mental health charity Zero2Hero to the tune of $17,500, we’re back with a new collaboration just in time for summer!

Ocean Zone Boardshorts is the brainchild of Cottesloe’s Reif Myers, whose distinctive style as an artist has seen him exhibit all over the world whilst running his boardies company, displaying original artworks created by Reif.

We recently commissioned Reif to create a special Western Australian-focused piece to help raise money for Surf Life Saving, and from that piece he has also created two different board shorts covered in uniquely West Oz icons!

“Usually with commissioned pieces or if I choose a theme I’ll write down as many icons as I can for them,” Reif told us on completion of the project. “This one wasn’t just Perth but all of Western Australia – so there’s whale sharks, the Bungle Bungle, wine regions, Perth city… Everything to do with WA.”

The boardshorts come in two different styles, a classic retro cut with side trim and a classic boxer cut with elastic waistband and drawcord:
