The Wray Hotel

Freo fans fear not, if you’re looking for somewhere to watch the footy without any pesky Eagles supporters flapping in your face, the The Wray Hotel is Freo’s dedicated sports bar. Formerly The Beaconsfield Hotel and Moondyne Joe’s before that, in late 2023 it got a big-time glow up to its current form. Don’t let the fresh coat of paint fool you though, they’ve still got some epic happy hour deals and nightly meal specials, and the Sports Bar is looking very fresh!

Patriots Sports Bar

Arguably the most “sports bar” of Perth’s sports bars, Patriots next door to the Brass Monkey rocks 22 screens, 3 huge ones and a couple of private booths if you’re getting real deep. Showing sport seven days a week, their open kitchen will fuel your football-infused fire with hefty American pub fare, including a tidy kilo of wings for $20.

The Sporting Globe Bar & Grill

The Sporting Globe is a chain of sports bars operating around the country, and they’ve just added a brand new central location to their West Aussie operations! With homes in Belmont, Mandurah and Rockingham already, Perth-based sports fans can get amongst all the action at their newest venue at Floreat Forum. The venue accommodates over 400 patrons and boasts an expansive open-air beer garden with a large screen, a restaurant, TAB facilities, and more than 50 screens including touchscreen booth TVs® offering a wide selection of sports vision from around the world in your own little nook.

The Wembley Hotel

It’s hard to go past The Wembley’s green courtyard + big screen combo for footy action during winter. Their happy hour and monster menu offerings don’t hurt either, and if you’re keen to party on after things can get pretty rowdy (in a good way).

If you like a sun-drenched beer garden and big screen to go with your sporting action, it’s hard to go past The Saint. The alfresco area is plenty spacious too, so you can grab something off their huge menu, pull up a pew and wash it down with a pint while your team kicks goals.

Hyde Park Hotel

The Hydey’s front bar is massive, rocking a state of the art Sports Lounge featuring 10 TVs showing all kinds of sport from all over the globe. It’s also packing a couple of pool tables, a TAB next-door if you fancy a punt, and a bunch of great meal deals all during the week.

Crown Sports Bar

A place for the true sports nuffies, Crown’s huge Sports Bar rocks sport from all over the globe, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Their huge screens will put you right in the thick of the action, or you can book out a special VIP box for you and 18 mates for something a little more intimate.

Varsity Bar & Burgers

From humble beginnings tucked away off Broadway in Nedlands, Varsity has become a burger and sports powerhouse around Perth across a heap of locations, including in the new FOMO Freo precinct and more recently, Innaloo and Whitford City Carousel. The American sports theming creates a pretty unbeatable game day atmosphere, while you’ll create a healthy stomach lining with their big burgers, pizzas and fried chicken.

Inglewood Hotel

The Inglewood Hotel has had customers bending the elbow since 1936, and their dedication to sport with heaps of screens has definitely helped. For big games they’ll even set up a huge screen inside, they’ve got plenty of beers on tap and we can confirm they do make a mean parmi.

The Camfield

Australia’s biggest pub (right next to Perth’s biggest sports stadium), The Camfield is kitted out with 175 taps and what feels like just as many TVs to keep you hooked into sport all the time. If you can’t get into the game, it’s hard to go past the massive cinema-sized screen in the Beer Garden on a warm Saturday or Sunday afternoon.

Hill St Sports Bar

The Hill St Sports Bar does sport right in the CBD, with four big screens, plenty of specials and a pool table to knock a few balls down. Plus if you get a little carried away the bar, you can get a discounted rate on a room to make the walk to bed much shorter (and safer).

Legends Bar

The bar’s called Legends, what else do you need to know? Alright fine: Legends is one of those pubs that’s tucked away very nicely – filled with locals only and absolutely no muss or fuss. Food is pure, honest pub fare, they’ll sling out free ribs if their feeling friendly and there’s a purple ATM up the back if you feel so inclined (gamble responsibly).
