The Best Dog Friendly Outings Around Perth
Unsure of what to do this weekend? Why not take your beloved furry pal out for a date! Whether you want to head for the surf, get some exercise or enjoy a coffee, we’ve gathered some of the best dog friendly attractions around Perth.
Animal Exercise Beach, Hillarys
Situated off Whitfords Avenue, Hillarys dog beach has been a popular animal exercise spot for years. Every man and his dog from Perth’s northern suburbs flock to this long stretch of coastline during the weekends to soak up some rays while their pooch has a run. It’s the ideal spot for you and your furry friend to have a swim, play in the sand and meet some fellow dog owners. On some days, you may even find a mobile dog wash and a coffee van.

South Beach, Fremantle
South Beach in Fremantle is one of the most popular dog beaches for those living in the southern suburbs. Located just south of the Fremantle Sailing Club, the swell on this section of beach tends to be fairly calm, suiting those dogs who are not so keen on large waves. There is also a grassed area where you can dry off before hoping in the car. Be sure to visit during sunset when the view is simply magical.

Noble Falls, Gidegegannup
Noble Falls is located just east of the main Gidgegannup townsite and provides an ideal spot for a dog friendly outing year-round. While the falls are most full during winter, the warmer months offer calmer waters for your pal to cool down in. Noble Falls also boasts a walking trail that loops around to a picnic area with barbeques. Also, don’t forget to check out the stunning wildflowers in spring!

With towering jarrah, marri and parperback trees, this suburban oasis will make you feel far from city life.
