If there’s one thing we can always get more of in our lives it’s greenery. And it’s pretty fair to say we’ve gone indoor plant mad in the past couple of years – but why the heck not!? The perfect addition to any home and the perfect gift for any occasion, there are plenty of places around Perth to nab some indoor plants for you or your friends/loved ones…
Creation Landscape Supplies
Don’t let the huge piles of dirt and sand out the front of Creation Landscape Supplies fool you, within its walls lies a bevvy of beautiful indoor plants and super cool, quirky pots. Regularly re-stocking with not only rare plants but awesome art series pots from all over the country, the friendly staff are more than happy to talk through what you need, and will even pot your new purchase for you!

Outside of being an incredibly well-stocked flower, plant and gift shop, Green Bunch is just an awesome place to hang out! Their cafe serves up some delicious little snacks and great coffee, best enjoyed in their perfect little suburban backyard/courtyard – the type you can only find in East Vic Park.

Bloomin Good Succulents
If succulents are more your vibe, grab the keys and head north to Wanneroo and chat to friendly family at Bloomin Good Succulents. They’ve got more than 80 varieties starting at as little as $2, and heaps of crazy and cool little pots to put them in. They’ve also got some awesome cacti – something you’ll be investing in if you want to get ahead of the curve ;).

As above, sometimes you gotta hit the road to find the secret spots, and Hills Botanic is a relative newcomer that won’t disappoint! They’ve got some beautiful floral arrangements in store, but its their killer indoor plant selection that has kept us coming back time and time again. They also run some great workshops, so why not make a day of it and grab a coffee at Jack & Jill down the road before stocking up on all the green you need.
2B Haynes St, Kalamunda
Not just a plant store, but also a cafe and collection of maker’s studios, Stackwood is the bright and dreamy warehouse space of your dreams. Grab a coffee or a bagel and head downstairs for a chat with their resident horticulturalist – who can also be booked for consultations to green-up your home or office. Whether you’re looking for a smaller specimen or to invest in a larger established plant, Stackwood have you covered. And if you’re looking for a unique gift, head to their website to see all the upcoming workshops and events hosted in the warehouse – including make-your-own ceramics and woven wall hangings, propagation know-how and photography masterclasses.

Imagine a world where you could order plants online at the click of a button, already in a super stylish pot, to be delivered to a friend (or, y’know, yourself) the very same day. You could even add-on a fertiliser pack perfectly sized for an indoor garden. Seems too good to be true, except that Green Assembly does exactly that! With heaps to choose from, they’re the perfect alternative to sending flowers – and they’ll last way longer!
