As we continue our rapid march out of the winter doldrums (it’s already mid-October?!), we’re excited for more time at the beach.

And while we didn’t have “pop-up cinema” on our beach-going bingo card for 2023, we’re more than happy to take the plunge!

To celebrate the launch of their new Scarborough location, Betty’s Burgers is hosting a pop-up ‘dive in’ cinema in the amphitheatre on Friday 27 October, screening cult 90s teen comedy, 10 Things I Hate About You.

Tickets are only $15 (on sale this Thursday), and come with a burger, drink and a merch pack including a bucket hat and beach bag.

Plus there’ll be free roving fairy floss and popcorn, voucher giveaways and more.

If you’re not a big Heath fan or just can’t get down on the Friday, head down on Saturday 28 October for the official Betty’s Scarborough launch party, where you can cop a $10 burger + drink combo, and some free merch if you’re one of the first 500 peeps.

Betty’s Burgers Scarborough is located at Shop 13/148 The Esplanade, Scarborough, and final release tickets for the pop-up cinema are on sale from 9am Thursday 12 October (make sure you book with your bestie).
