8 Of The Best Cafés Around Hillarys And Sorrento
The northern beaches of Perth are pretty stunning, but where can you grab a coffee or brunch after your dip at Sorrento? Here are just a few of our faves around Sorrento, Hillarys, Marmion and Duncraig:
Lot One
Open for breakfast and lunch, the Lot One kitchen may be small in size, but it’s big on flavour – as well as community spirit. With some high quality eating and drinking on offer, you can pop by for an afternoon spritz or a couple of zucchini and smoked salmon fritters, and soak up the friendly vibes.
46 Angove Drive, Hillarys
The Little Bay
The Little Bay really is pretty-as-a-picture. Whether you’re an aspiring insta influencer or simply want a good view with your brunch, this ultra-aesthetic café lives up to its good looks. While you can still get your classics like big breakfast and eggs benny, the menu ups the ante with breakfast gnocchi and Turkish eggs… which would go really well with a Bloody Mary, just saying.
33 West Coast Drive, Watermans Bay
Little h
Little h have become iconic over the years for their brunch offerings – and it’s with good reason. As well as modern classics like avo toast and eggs benny, you can also get some enticing twists on nostalgic favourites, like their brekkie bubble and squeak.
34 Marri Road, Duncraig
Finn’s
Perhaps you’re after something that’s a bit more on-the-go? Step out of the water at Sorrento and you’ll basically be at Finn’s – an unpretentious takeaway nook sorting you out for your post-swim coffees (and maybe a cheeky bacon and egg roll).
189 West Coast Drive, Sorrento Beach
Alleycats Espresso
A must-visit if you’re fangin’ for a coffee at Hillarys, Alleycats is dishing up espressos just as good as their views across the marina. As well as some sweet treats on offer, we can’t resist any opportunity for one of their bagels. Make sure to bring your furry friends, too!

The Milk Barrel
Handcrafted and unpretentious, Milk Barrel has been serving up award winning gelato from their Hillarys shop since 2017. Small batches are made fresh on premises using traditional Italian methods, and with over 16 flavours on offer, everyone’s covered: whether you’re into a super simple Sicilian pistachio or the more decadent flavours like Ferrero Rocher or pavlova . Those with more adventurous tastebuds should keep an eye out for their super popular, also award winning durian ice-cream.
