Abra Kebabra

This magical (get it?) kebab shop on the border of Dianella and Morley does a lot of things right, from the always super-friendly service to one of Perth’s best kebabs, but their meat boxes are something else. From the chips to the protein it all tastes incredibly fresh, their sauce portions are generous AF and it’s one of those most meat boxes that won’t just save a hungover, its fresh enough to just be a meal to savour.

Perth Kebab Station

The one and only Perth Kebab Station! How could the home of the world’s biggest HSP not be at the top of the list? In 2016, these guys made plenty of headlines for their record-breaking, eight metre long HSP – but even if you’re going for a more modest serving, they’re still the top dogs in town.

Antep Mangal

Mount Lawley’s Antep Mangal boasts one of Perth’s most expansive traditional Turkish menus – and while we’re normally down to dig into a beyti kebab or a plate of iskender, their meat box is just as legendary as their friendly service.

Istanbul Kitchen

This North Perth institution has been standing proudly on Fitzgerald Street since 2003, and not through chance. Homemade breads and generous, tender meats make Istanbul Kitchen’s kebabs next level, and their HSPs have lived up to their solid reputation.

Aladdin’s Pizza & Kebabs

The sign outside Aladdin’s proclaims “Taste is Everything”. We couldn’t agree more – which is why we’re such big fans of their positively epic HSPs. The meat? It’s succulent. The chips? They’re crispy. The sauce? Boy, is it loaded. Get one in you ASAP.

Hikky’s

Sure, everyone loves a kebab, but Hikky’s have reached legendary status. Home made lavash bread and sauces take these to another level, but the rest of the menu is also worth its own visit – from the maqluba, to the shish platters, to the Babylon, or the fresh homemade pastries. But our hearts will always cry out for that delicious, delicious HSP.

Shenton Kebabs Turkish Bakery

We are always blown away by just how good Shenton Kebabs are – it’s no surprise they’re a longstanding favourite for Shenton Park locals. While their freshly baked Turkish bread is out of control good, some nights we can’t resist a good ol’ box of meat and chips – luckily, the chips are fresh and crispy, the meat tender and tasty, and the sauce game on point.

Mundaring Istanbul Kebab

Another spot with some delectable freshly baked bread – grab a golden, fluffy loaf for later and tuck into one of Mundaring Istanbul Kebab’s generously loaded HSPs. One of the Hills’ best kept secrets!

Even though they’ve only been open just over a year, Istanbul Pizza & Kebab House have become a fast favourite for Ballajura locals. These huge boxes are piled high, loaded with plenty of delicious meat and for a great price.
