Black Pig Deli founders bring their supreme sandwiches to the Perth CBD

There ain’t nothing sadder than a lacklustre lunch – especially when it’s in the middle of a lacklustre day spent chained to your desk.

Luckily, the CBD’s lunch game has just levelled up with the addition of daxxi 140.

The newest venture from Adam and Marissa Bielawski, founders of now-shuttered Black Pig Deli Co. and Poach Pear label pâté, terrines and rillettes, you can expect to find daxxi’s cabinets overflowing with the artisanal and local products that made their Inglewood deli so delicious.

Think gooey Croque Monsieurs, decadent Reubens, mortadella focaccia melts and house-cured salmon bagels – all made with bread from local, independent bakeries.

Feeling a bit more restrained? There’ll also be a selection of nourishing salads with plenty of gluten free and vegetarian options – and some home made, family recipe sweet treats for that 3PM slump, of course.

Gesha Coffee Roasters are taking care of the coffee, keeping city workers fuelled with a rotating selection of single origin batch brew alongside their espresso offerings.

“We’re both just so passionate about excellent service with a big smile,” says Marissa.

“I’m honestly ecstatic to bring Adam’s incredible food and our signature style of neighbourhood love and care to the CBD.”
