Bunbury Farmers Market: What You Need To Know
First opened in 2003, Bunbury Farmers Market has become an absolute must-visit – whether you’re coming back up to Perth from a weekend down south or you’re a Bunbury local. Overflowing with local produce, it’s a food-lover’s paradise where you’ll find everything from cold-pressed juice to market-made dinners, decadent cheeses and the freshest veggies.
What is it?
A giant, air-conditioned grocer, Bunbury Farmers Market is the ultimate destination for anyone that enjoys deliciousness – whether you’re a budding chef or just enjoy a sneaky snack attack.
Where is it?
The markets are located at 2 Vittoria Road, Glen Iris – just under two hours’ drive from the Perth CBD, and about 10 minutes’ from the centre of Bunbury. If you’re coming back up to Perth from a weekend down south, it’s about 45 minutes from Busselton.
What can you buy there?
Just about anything that makes your tummy rumble can be found at Bunbury Farmers Market. Boasting over 150 local growers, over 90% of the fresh fruit and vegetables stocked at the market comes directly from local farms – which means almost all the fresh produce was in the ground just two days prior to being in your basket!

As well as fruit and veg, you can stock up on local milk, eggs and meat – as well as local and imported cheeses. Not just produce, the markets are also packed with plenty of goodies ready for you to dive into, many of which are made 100% in the market. It’s no wonder it’s become a favourite stop for road trippers, with freshly made sandwiches, rolls and more stretching out as far as the eye can see – and plenty of market-made sweets to save for dessert. Stock your pantry with nut butters, jams and relishes, granolas and more – or make dinner extra easy with a huge range of gourmet salads, freshly baked bread and heaps of heat-and-eat meals.
