The WA Day Long Weekend is almost upon us, and if you’re anything like us you didn’t bother to book anywhere six months in advance and have a clean slate for activities. Or you really just can’t be bothered dealing with the hectic long weekend down south traffic and crowds.

Fortunately there’s plenty on in and around the city this weekend, and if you want to experience the foodie flavours and wines of Margaret River without the travel/booking hassles, then we’ve got a little something that just might be for you.

On Saturday 5 June Samuels On Mill in the Parmelia Hilton Perth is launching its first of a new Tastes Of WA wine dinner series, focusing on fresh local produce from Margaret River, paired with some special wines from Leeuwin Estate.

The three course menu features Margaret River Venison or South West Nannygai for mains alongside a Chicken Breast & Venison Chorizo for entree, Leek Ash Venison Carpaccio amuse-bouche and a Margaret River Dark Chocolate and Salted Caramel Tart dessert.

Most importantly of course, these culinary delights will be joined by four wine pairings from Leeuwin’s collection, including the Art Series Shiraz, Sauvignon Blanc and Cabernet Sauvignon.

They’re also inviting you to make a proper night of it with an overnight stay at the Parmelia Hilton Perth, featuring complimentary breakfast the next morning and two tickets to the Taste Of WA Margaret River Wine Dinner, starting at $440.

Book online now via the Hilton Website.
