Arriving to Maylands nearly two and a half years ago, Commune Wine Store has proven itself a valuable addition to the neighbourhood.

While they’re beloved by locals, their lush selection of delicious drops – focusing on boutique, minimal intervention, natural and lo-fi wines from small independent producers – is well worth travelling for, particularly when they’re hosting one of their frequent tastings or private wine classes.

Commune Wine Store Maylands Subiaco

Soon, Subiaco locals won’t have to travel far, with plans to open a brand new store within the luxe ONE Subiaco development, nestled at the base of the (increasingly bustling) Rokeby Road… But they need your help!

If you like the sound of another Commune Wine Store (we do!), filling out an easy-peasy two minute survey helps the store’s liquor application immeasurably – especially if you’re a local!

After a slow couple of years, Subiaco has seen a recent resurgence in high quality wining and dining – including neighbouring Shui at the former Funtastico site, wine bar Lums from the same crew as local favourite Bark and coastal Mexican-inspired La Condesa from hospitality stalwart Clint Nolan (among many others).

To find out more about Commune’s boutique wine offerings and to stay updated on their new store, check out their Instagram here – or pop into their Maylands store at 209 Railway Parade.
