East Perth’s Brand New Rooftop Bar Folly Opens Today!

If there’s one word that makes our interest pique, it’s “rooftop”! When it’s a bar? Paired with 360° views over the shimmering city skyline and the Swan River? Hoo-boy! We’re in for a treat.

Opening this afternoon, Folly is delivering on all three.

Perched atop Quest East Perth and offering birds eye views of the WACA and Optus Stadium, find a seat on the wrap-around veranda and take in the stunning vista with a drink in hand, or settle into the foliage-filled dining room for a selection of bites from Chef Jose Perez-Baros.

The concise menu of bar snacks merges classics with punches of flavour from around the world – so while you can still get a killer salumi and cheese plate, you’re also sure to be tempted by Sichuan-spiced dumplings, Korean fried cauliflower or Freo octopus with a fiery nduja kick. (We’re also rather fixated on the crumbed snapper sandwich will dill tartar!)

On the drinks front, expect to see celebratory sparkles, magnums of rosé and some fun takes on cocktail classics – channel your inner Carrie Bradshaw and sip on a Cosmo Spritz, or continue the heat from the food menu with a chilli and ginger infused Spiced Mule.
