There aren’t many things better than enjoying a Western Australian sunset on the beach, but if you can do it with an ice-cold drink in hand, it can get just that little bit sweeter…

And our friends in the north will very soon have their own awesome venue to do exactly that, with Hillarys Beach Club at Pinnaroo Point less than two weeks away from opening its doors on Monday 11 December.

It’s a huge two-story venue, featuring multiple spaces and a diverse menu that already has mouths watering, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner seven days a week.

The variety of unique spaces mean there will be something for all-comers, starting with Bar Cicchettis on the lower level – a casual spot perfect for families wit ah a breakfast menu from 7am that switches into Italian-inspired small dishes, pizzas and pastas later in the day.

Also on the ground floor you’ll find Bert’s Ballroom, the perfect private event space for weddings and corporate events accommodating up to 100 seated guests.

Upstairs is known as The Heart, offering uninterrupted views over the beach, with luxurious booth seating and huge marble bar serving up pub classics alongside a small, Japanese-influenced section called Ubon.

Finally a takeaway window near the entrance will be slinging 6am coffees, house-made pastries and more for you early-morning cyclists and beach-goers to get the ball rolling.

“Hillarys Beach Club embodies the spirit of community, providing a space where people of all ages and backgrounds can come together and enjoy,” says owner Ryan Esqulant, who previously owned The Iluka.

“Throughout the fit-out process, we prioritised supporting the local community by engaging tradespeople from the surrounding area. It was our way of giving back and fostering a sense of local pride.

“The employment of over 200 staff from the community, spanning various age groups, further reinforces our commitment to making this venue a hub for everyone.”

Hillarys Beach Club is located at Pinnaroo Point, John Wilke Tarn, Hillarys, and opens Monday 11 December – head to hillarysbeachclub.com for more info.
