This Arvo, Cop A Taste Of Josh Kennedy’s Brand New Gin!

We are out here, working hard on the daily, finding you excellent excuses to knock off early – and today is no different. (You’re very welcome!)

Everyone’s favourite forward, Josh Kennedy has also been working hard since his West Coast retirement, launching boutique distillery Beyond Distilling with former teammate Chris Masten.

Working alongside winemaker and distiller Greg Garnish, their inaugural spirit is the aptly named x17. The gin not only references JK’s playing number, but utilises 17 botanicals from his Mid West home, with notes of sea celery, pink grapefruit, Geraldton wax, salt bush and verticordia.

Be amongst the first to try the gin this afternoon (Thursday November 24) at Old Bridge Cellars Como! Josh and Chris will be hosting the first ever tasting from 4 to 7PM – stop by, have a little arvo tipple and perhaps pick up a Christmas prezzie or two.
