Subiaco’s Lulu La Delizia Just Named The Best Restaurant In WA!

Since opening in 2016, Lulu La Delizia has become one of Perth’s crowning jewels, serving up a refined menu of northern Italian comfort food – and fittingly, the Subiaco trattoria has just taken out the award for WA’s Restaurant of the Year at last night’s Gourmet Traveller 2023 Restaurant Awards.

The prestigious awards gathered Australia’s brightest culinary talents at the Sydney gala event, including revered names like Neil Perry, Shannon Martinez, Ben Shewry, Brigitte Haffner, and Andrew McConnell, with South Australia’s Restaurant Botanic awarded the national prize.

While Lulu La Delizia has been steadily earning legions of local fans for its sumptuous pasta and comforting bites, the eatery – helmed by chef Joel Valvasori – also earned the praise of renowned chef Marco Pierre White, who in 2018 named the restaurant his favourite in Australia.
