Over the Easter weekend, prestigious independent wine publication The Real Review named its top 10 producers for 2023 – and Margaret River winery Stella Bella made it to number eight!

Stella Bella is the only WA winery to be recognised in the top 10, alongside some of Australia’s most prestigious wine producers.

Named amongst the top 50 are WA producers Cullen, Xanadu, Howard Park and Vasse Felix.

“We weren’t even in the top 100 just a few years ago; it’s been a pretty meteoric rise for us and to be recognised this way by a platform with the respect of The Real Review is truly amazing,” said Stella Bella’s chief winemaker of 10 years, Luke Jolliffe.

“Having a great team around you, all working together with the same focus, attitude and drive, makes a big difference.”

“We are absolutely thrilled to be named as one of the Top 10 Wineries in Australia. This is a testament to the passion and dedication of our viticultural and winemaking teams.”

“We are indeed fortunate to be in a wine growing region of exceptional quality, surrounded by incredibly talented peers,” added Stella Bella’s marketing manager Tom Barnes.

“Stella Bella’s success is a shining example of the quality of wines produced in the Margaret River region and highlights the important role smaller wineries play in the Australian wine industry.”

Producing since 1999, Stella Bella’s recent recognition comes hand in hand with the critical success of its Luminosa range of small batch wines, with the Luminosa Cabernet Sauvignon also gaining Three Merit classification in the Real Review’s Wine Classification of Australia, placing it in the top 0.5% of Australian wines.
