Since opening back in 2019, Willing Coffee’s Mount Lawley outpost has become a favourite for locals to swing by for a coffee and a croissant.
At the time, there was chatter about an eventual wine bar to join the growing family of hospitality and lifestyle businesses at the base of the Central Ave development – but the former suburban deli held its own with enough gusto that we’d contented ourselves with morning coffee visits, or lunches at neighbouring Vietnamese diner LeeLee Lucky’s.
However! Today we welcome another transformation of Willing Coffee Mount Lawley, with the café’s recent renovations harkening an evening transition to wining and dining.
From Wednesday to Sunday, Bar Vino will take over from 4PM – transforming the bustling café into a somewhat more sultry proposition.
Fittingly, the big focus here is on wines, with the expansive list predominantly leaning Italian – and a particular focus on Sangiovese. Of the 160-strong bottles, over 100 are available by the glass, perfect for a quick post-work pit stop.
Alongside these delicious drops will be some equally delicious bites – whether you’re snacking on a selection of olives, cacio e pepe flatbread or salumi, or diving into a sumptuous bowl of pasta.
Bar Vino is located at 181 Central Avenue, Mount Lawley
