When it comes to New Year’s Eve you probably fall in one of two camps: either you can’t be bothered with the hassle, or you’ve been eyeing your party pants off for a while now, ready to dance, baby.

If you’re one of the former, we don’t blame ya! And if you’re one of the latter, read on below for a round-up of the best things to do around Perth this New Year’s Eve:

FESTIVALS

Snack NYE

Send it with your mates at another huge SNACK NYE Festival, featuring carnival rides, inflatable games and multiple bars, including the return of the Red Light District. Keep it “quiet” in the Silent Disco or rock out in front of their huge Boombox with their just-announced headliners – Golden Features, Young Franco and Shouse!

Freedom Time

Boorloo’s annual piping-hot blend of unencumbered expression and loose jubilation returns to send off 2024 with a spectacular array of artists from here and abroad, all set within the stunning surrounds of Supreme Court Gardens. ICF NYE

Set in the heart of Northbridge on the former Peters Ice Cream Factory site, ICF is welcoming back one of their all-time faves, Hermitude, for a huge party into 2025. The bespoke venue serves up unbeatable views of the Perth city skyline to complement a variety of bars, amusements and activities on offer. Tickets are on second release, grab yours here.

Stories NYE

Perth’s hottest (and biggest) new venue is loading up with their first New Year’s Eve Festival. There’ll be fireworks, Perth’s best DJs and a silent disco across six stages. It’s on for young and old from 7pm til 2am, with tickets on sale now.

The Gog Block Party NYE

The biggest New Year’s party south of the river hits Freo Oval again this December 31st where you’ll be surrounded by historic buildings, sunshine and your best friends. You’ll find huge stages, silent disco, bars and food trucks, Euro rave cave, epic countdown and loads more. Grab your tickets here.

Leederville NYE

LOOP Nightclub

Popular Sydney hip hop artist, ChillinIt, makes his way up to the northern suburbs for an exclusive New Year’s performance at LOOP Nightclub in Joondalup. The viral artist released his debut album Women Weed & Wordplay in 2018, and has since only gone from strength to strength, winning and AIR award in 2021, and copping mulitple ARIA noms. ChillinIt has already sold out a show at LOOP earlier in the year, so if you’re keen to get along we suggest sorting tickets ASAP via Oztix.

Lums

West Leedy’s Besk will be serving up their favourite bevvies of the year to celebrate the arrival of 2025, with food specials all night and an oyster-shucking station, plus DJ Low End Therapy spinning from 9PM til they close at 2AM.
