Whether you’re Sober October-ing, Dry July-ing, or (and this is a new one) “Damp January”-ing, taking it easy during the week or simply don’t care for booze: there’s plenty of reasons why you might be laying off the alcohol for a while.

And with non-alc options as good as this, who needs the booze?

Free Spirit Drink Co.

For a truly mammoth selection of non-alcoholic beveraginos, you can’t go past Free Spirit Drink Co. Head to their Applecross store (or their website) to check out the expansive range, which includes delightful refreshments from brands like Yes You Can, Naked Life, Molly Rose Brewing Co, Nocktail, NON and heaps (heaps!) more.

Shift Lanes

If you’re looking for a one-stop shop for all your delicious non-alc needs, Shift Lanes is it – and you can scope it all out from the comfort of your own couch! This Perth-based online store has a tidy selection of artisanal non-alcoholic drinks, from the ultra-aesthetic bottles of Monday Distillery, Plus & Minus zero percent prosecco, or an extensive range of Lyre’s spirits to round out the bar.

Ovant Distillations

These Margaret River distillations blend botanical inspirations with expert winemakers and sommeliers to create a selection tipples to truly inspire. Choose from gin-adjacent Grace, the sultry and spiced Royal or the fresh, aperitif-inspired Verve – Ovant has a drink to suit all occasions, with not only no alcohol, but no sugar, either!

Lightning Minds

While Lightning Minds has recently expanded their operations over east, they’re a WA success story through-and-through. This electrifying take on an American pale ale has less than 0.5% alcohol while tasting as good as your favourite frothy.

Gweilo

We’re big fans of Gweilo’s iconic sherbet sour beer and its distinctive rainbow can, but the brewer also has something on offer for those looking for 0%: the ultra-crisp, ultra-refreshing alcohol free pale ale. It’s as citrussy and tropical as the pale ale you know and love, just without the headache.

Easy Tiger

This collaboration between Whitelakes Brewing and Dingo Brewing Co. sure goes down easy – and the itty-bitty 0.5% alcohol definitely helps! Easy Tiger will give you that full-bodied tropical taste without any tough mornings.

Old Bridge Cellars

Old Bridge is always a go-to when we’re looking for a bottle of something nice, and that’s still true when it comes to non-alc options. The bottle shop stocks wines from Polka, Plus & Minus and Newblood, as well as pet-nat kombucha from Monceau, plus the now-ubiquitous Heaps Normal, Lightning Minds and Yeah Buoy beers to keep you well and truly watered.

Wise Child Wine Store

Wise Child may not have an extensive selection of non-alc options, but what they do have is just as compelling as their regular selections. Alongside Heaps Normal and Sobah brews, you’ll find Ghiddy vermentino, Supermaté, T.I.N.A sparkling high mountain oolong tea and St. Ali cascara soda made from coffee cherries. With any of those in your glass, you’ll be the envy of any party.
