North Freo Favourite Propeller Is Closing In Just Over A Week

Our heartbreak is in full force this week with the announcement that North Fremantle’s beloved eatery Propeller will have their last service on Sunday, April 2.

Helmed by Head Chef Kurt Sampson, the restaurant (and former bus garage) first opened eight years ago with its signature casually refined approach and Middle Eastern-influenced flavours.

The chef will continue to head up the kitchen at neighbouring event space and sister venue Guildhall, with a new concept planned for the Propeller site in the future.

That means there’s a little over a week left to finally get through the manoushe options under those glowing courtyard lights.
