Australia’s largest and longest-running Oktoberfest in the Gardens festival returns for another huge round of shows around the country this October, kicking off in its hometown of Perth on October 5.

Held in the heart of city since 2011, over the years it has becoming a nationally-touring beast that now stops by Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Newcastle, with over 65,000 expected attendees!

15,000 of those are expected in Perth, which hits Langley Park on Saturday 5 October for a big ole day of Bavarian festivities.

Inspired of course by the traditional Bavarian festival and great bier, Oktoberfest in the Gardens features colossal beer halls, authentic German food stalls, roving performers, thrill rides, sideshow alley, silent discos, and an eclectic mix of entertainment and on-stage competitions across multiple stages.

Attendees can expect a large selection of imported German beer, cider and wine, alongside a range of other beverages.

“We say it every year, but this year’s Oktoberfest celebrations will be bigger than ever before,” said Nokturnl Events co-founder, Ross Drennan. “It’s amazing how this event has continued to grow across the country… Last year, we added additional cities to the tour and introduced even more fun activations.”
