Perth Is OK! Day 2022: Knock Off Early And Enjoy A Bevvie In The Sunshine
Perth Is OK! is for the people. And that’s just one reason we think it’s absolutely bloody criminal that almost all of our public holidays are wasted on the winter months.
So we’ve decided that enough is enough, and we’re creating our own. Each year on the first Friday of summer, we’ll be knocking off early, heading to the pub, and celebrating the start of the festive season, beers-in-the-sunshine season, beach-every-morning season.
Of course, we’re lucky enough to be the ones who came up with this hair-brained scheme in the first place – so we can say with certainty that our bosses will be at the pub, too. Perhaps your boss needs a little push in the right direction? Say less, bestie. We’ve even knocked up a handy permission slip for you to slide onto their desk, just so you’ve got it all in writing and official.

Liberty Alive
If you really can’t leave your desk until 5, never fear: the folks at Liberty Alive are kicking things off at 5PM with 50% off ANY first drink – all you have to do is share a photo of the event on your social media, tagging @perthisok and @LibertyAlive and showing a screenshot as proof. Cheers to that!

It’s aperitivo time at Canteen! Not only are they serving up $12 Spritzes and Negronis, $8 prosecco and Stone & Wood Pacific Ale tins, you can pair it with some tasty treats from their aperitivo menu which are all under $16 – including olives, oysters, mortadella, caprese and margherita pizza.
Or, trot down the road to il Lido, who are putting on a roster of classic spritzes for just $12 each, plus $10 classic negronis.

La vie en Rosé
Rose petal infused Belvedere vodka with house made rose liqueur, a touch of lemon and topped up with Clandestine Rosé Prosecco. Bubbles, rose and vodka; what’s not to love!?
The Monarch
