There’s nothing better than going for a morning swim at the beach and grabbing a coffee on your way home.

From cafes to a combi van, you won’t be surprised to know there are plenty of fantastic beachside coffee spots around Perth – sandy feet and wet bathers welcome.

Bronty’s

Bronty’s is a brand new cafe set up right on Perth’s surfing mecca at South Trigg. A passion project for long time surf pals Beau Lester and Marc Sputore, it sits pretty alongside Surfing WA’s recently refurbished headquarters. Slinging post-surf snacks and coffees from 7am-1pm, it’s very quickly become a busy little hub this summer.

Ol’ Buoy

We couldn’t have been happier to hear about the return of Cott’s resident beachside pop-up Ol’ Buoy for a third blessed summer. Helmed by the crews from both Daisies and Some-day, these guys know how to sort you out with a post-swim coffee and snack. We can tell you from experience, the sausage and egg muffin goes down a real treat, especially if you’re too early for the epic fish burger.

The Little Bay Takeaway

Yes, the café décor and food is amazing, but have you visited The Little Bay‘s takeaway coffee window on the side of the main café? The coffee window is located directly opposite the beach, over West Coast Drive, so you can visit either pre-or post-swim. You may as well grab some banana bread and a muffin while you’re there too.

The Orange Box

You can’t miss this café at Leighton Beach, it’s literally an orange box. There’s no beach views, but they’re located close to the beach showers and face onto the park. You have to stroll past the café to get to Leighton Beach, so you may as well stop in for a coffee.

C-Breez Kiosk

There’s only lush green grass and sand dunes separating C-Breez Kiosk and Brighton Beach in Scarborough. This place is buzzing in the morning and serves not only takeaway coffee, but homemade cakes, tarts, breakfast burgers and everything in between.

Combi Coffee

Keep an eye out for the yellow combi van at Port Beach in North Fremantle! Known amongst the locals for serving coffee right on the water, this little combi van pumps out delicious coffee. It’s best to follow their Instagram account so you can keep tabs on their location.

The Beach Bus

A super adorable solar-powered vintage caravan that parks up at Mosman Park dog beach, the Beach Bus ticks a helluva lot of boxes for us… Not only is it tantalisingly close to the water, not only are there dogs a-plenty to befriend, but their açai game is next level and their coffees damn hard to beat.
