Hadiqa

If you and your friends are feeling hungry on a night out, make sure to stop in at this stylish bar and restaurant where you can enjoy an exquisite cocktail with Mediterranean cuisine. Hadiqa’s share-friendly menu offers a blend of Moroccan, Mediterranean and Greek food with kebabs, wraps and baklava included. Enjoy your meal with something from the extensive collection of cocktails, craft beers, and wines. The Hadiqa rooftop also hosts a variety of events such as Yin & Gin, cocktails on the terrace and their famous long table wine dinners. Get your hands on one of their iconic Turkish Delight Martini’s and enjoy the good vibes, if you’re lucky you might even see belly dancers and snake handlers.

Hula Bula

You can find this little tropical paradise in the heart of Perth City. If you love a holiday atmosphere as much as we do, then you’ll love this exotic bar. Hula Bula is packed full of tiki décor, amazing cocktails, delicious rums and awesome vintage music. If a rum cocktail isn’t for you then grab a beer, cider, spirit, wine or non-alcoholic beverage and sit back and soak up the holiday vibes. The Hula Bula Bar is perfect for a fun work function, tropical holiday, casual drink, or any celebration.

Bobeche

One of Perth’s most charismatic bars is Bobeche, situated in the basement with dimmed lights and antique furniture and slinging great cocktails for 10 years. Head here from 4pm onwards for a fantastic cocktail or bring your friends to try their famous teapot punch. If you’re hungry enough for a bite with your beverage, their bar food comes from their upstairs sister venue and award winning restaurant, Heritage Wine Bar.

Sneaky Tony’s

This wouldn’t be Perth’s best cocktail bar list without the iconic Sneaky Tony’s, named after the infamous rum-runner Tony “the hat”. This prohibition-inspired speakeasy rum bar is located in a back alley somewhere in Chinatown, Northbridge. If you stumble across its hidden door on a Friday or Saturday night, a password is required for entry (you can find this on their Facebook page). Sneaky Tony’s is home to Australia’s largest selection of rum, with 300 bottles sourced from all over the world.

Foxtrot Unicorn

Tucked below ground in an old bank vault built in 1887, Foxtrot Unicorn is home to some of Perth’s most delicious classic and modern cocktails. This place was once home to the Western Australian Club before being transformed into the unique bar it is today. There isn’t a specific theme in this place but it’s full of gorgeous vintage furniture, up-cycled materials and jarrah wood. The bar staff here are some of the best and most awarded and they are passionate about finding the finest produce. In addition to their amazing cocktails, you must dabble in one of their famous, fancy jaffles.

Frisk Small Bar

Tucked away down a leafy street in Northbridge you’ll find Perth’s haven for the serious gin-lover, Frisk Small Bar, with around 150 to choose from! They’ve got drops from all corners of the globe, all served with a smile and guiding hand if you need one. They’ve also got a tidy little selection of house cocktails to choose from, just be careful because time does tend to fly while you’re enjoying them on a balmy afternoon in the ‘bridge.

Wolf Lane

This unique fairytale-inspired small bar is one of Perth’s best kept secrets. At Wolf Lane you can find quirky cocktails and vintage furniture in a distressed brick space. This funky little spot is home to a variety of collectables from granny may and her life’s loves and adventures. Just like the fairytales, the big bad wolf will bring out your bad side, with fruity tea pots and flaming marshmallow topped cocktails. They even have cocktail masterclasses! An enchanting spot perfect for any occasion including happy hour drinks, late night cocktails and work parties.

The Aviary

The Aviary is one of Perth’s best open air rooftop bars. Sip on a cocktail on this surrounded by greenery, timber decking and relaxed furniture and enjoy the view of the city skyline while you browse their menu of bar snacks, pizzas and burgers. They even have a signature Espresso Martini menu. They cater for a range of functions and are perfect for any occasion, from small exclusive celebrations to big parties.

Tiki as FK

If you’re dreaming of the tiki vibe combined with a rooftop bar then Tiki as FK is the perfect place for you. Checkout their mixed drinks and skewers while you’re sipping on one of their delicious cocktails. The stunning view of the city is sure to make your night. If you’re looking for the ideal venue to host a function, this place is also available for hire from Sunday to Tuesday.

Varnish on King

This multi-award-winning venue is hidden in the basement of a heritage building built in 1921. Varnish on King is the perfect spot for a fun filled function where the bar is overflowing with bottles of Kentucky bourbons and American whiskeys. The interior pays homage to the American nouveau dive bars whilst also acknowledging Perth’s own history. The ‘Bacon and Whiskey Flight’ has become famous, featuring four different styles of whiskey paired with four different styles of bacon.

Henry Summer

It is always summertime at this stunning urban cocktail and wine garden. Situated in the centre of Northbridge, Henry Summer is the perfect place for you and your friends to meet, eat, drink, and soak up the sunshine and good vibes.

Johnny Fox’s

For something different, head to Perth’s only late-night Irish Bar. Johnny Fox’s is a classic Irish pub that serves draft beer, wholesome meals and of course Guinness and Kilkenny on tap. Importantly though, they have a great cocktail list features tasty classics with Irish twists. Grab one of their signature Irish Espresso Martinis or give the Misty Marmalade a twirl – gin, lemon, agave, marmalade, orange bitters, citrus pop!

Goody Two’s

This eccentric basement bar is inspired by the Japanese ‘after work’ culture, and as such Goody Two’s is home to a vast selection of Japanese whiskies, scrumptious cocktails and Izakaya-themed snacks, with a DJ that plays into the wee hours. From bookings to walk-ins, this novel bar welcomes everyone for a bite or a cocktail. Goody Two’s also offers whisky masterclasses and several quirky spaces to celebrate your next function.

The Volstead Lounge

Looking for something a bit more old fashioned? This speakeasy cocktail and jazz bar is reminiscent of a vibrant night in the roaring ’20s, its name coming from Andrew Volstead, the man who wrote America’s infamous National Prohibition Act Of 1920. The Volstead Lounge provides a sophisticated and captivating atmosphere, hidden behind a room furnished as Volstead’s study. You’ll have to work for your cocktail, to gain access, you will have to find the correct book on the bookshelf. The cocktail list boasts all the classics as well as a few extra creations including a Charcoal Tommy and Smoked Verrazano, best enjoyed with one of their mouthwatering share dishes, watching their regular live music or cabaret shows.

Caballitos

This themed bar offers sensational tacos and Mexican-inspired cocktails in a fun and bustling environment. Make sure to stop in at Caballitos on Nacho Typical Thursday for food and drink specials while you soak up the exciting atmosphere featuring mariachi bands, DJs, pole dancing and piñata parties. You’ll also be able to find the resident live tattoo artist who inks FREE custom Caballitos flash tattoos, perhaps best visited after you and your friends have indulged in one of their famous Margarita Trees (nine margies for $165).
