Perth’s best dessert cafes
From bingsu to cream-laden cakes, Perth has no shortage of dessert cafes to sate even the sweetest of tooths!
Camellia Cafe
We first called Camellia Cafe a sleeper hit, but we think it’s safe to say the cafe is now a solid gold addition to Perth’s dessert spots. The cafe opened at the start of 2021 and has quietly accrued a loyal following with their sweet treats. Specialising in bingsu, they also have some next-level croffles, and perfectly-golden honey bread piled high with whipped cream and your choice of toppings.

Cafe Guilty Pleasure
Those with a sweet tooth are well represented in Northbridge – especially at the aptly named Café Guilty Pleasure. This charming Korean café only opens in the afternoon, but you can stay into the evening and spend some quality time with plenty of adorable desserts, from cakes that go perfectly with a cosy cup of tea or some refreshing bingsu. It’s been earning a legion of fans for good reason, and at the end of 2021, expanded into a second Mount Lawley location that’s just as cute as the Northbridge OG.

Cake By Cake
Don’t be fooled by Cake by Cake’s industrial surrounds – this Willetton cafe is light, bright, and the perfect blank canvas to its pretty-as-a-picture sweet baked treats, bingsu, sweet toasts and brunches. We’re currently obsessed with everything injeolmi so we’re definitely eyeing off that brioche toast, but then again who can resist a cream cake loaded with fresh seasonal fruits?

Gemini Cafe
It’s fair to say Gemini Cafe has popped off on the socials of late with their perfectly-grammable desserts and drinks. Just because you’re in the hustle and bustle of St Georges Terrace doesn’t mean you can’t have a dessert packed with whimsy – like their viral Black Forest mushrooms.

Cafe Tiara
Yet another sweet cafe on the wild streets of Northbridge, Cafe Tiara is dishing up some delectable cakes, croffles, honey bread and bingsu. Wash your dessert down with one of their refreshing “ade” range, made with seasonal homemade fruit syrups.
93 Lake Street, Northbridge
Hanabing
Of course, who could forget Perth’s first ever Korean-style dessert cafe, Hanabing? These guys have an epic menu of sweet favourites, from their signature bingsu, soft gelato (umm, Royal Milk Tea flavour, hello?), or some of the thickest, fluffiest honey toasts we’ve laid eyes on.

Momo Dessert Cafe
Our advice? Wear stretchy pants to Momo Dessert Cafe. While their bingsu is refreshing and their cheesecakes will melt in your mouth, their savoury offerings (think katsu sandos, yoshuku-style miso butter udon, volcano beef) certainly make a worthy opening act.

Brown Spoon
Another dessert cafe that also holds their own on the savoury front, Brown Spoon is an old favourite for any Korean cafe fiends. Cakes are fluffy, croffles are perfectly golden, and freshly-baked madeleines make a perfect sweet for on the go.
