Having succeeded in leading the burger game around Perth for the past few years, the crew behind RoyAl’s Chicken & Burgers have just announced their brand new venture – Al Pastor Taqueria & Tequila Bar.

And they’ll be entering new territory, bringing “authentic street-style tacos, tequila cocktails, live music, DJs and good vibes” to brand new food precinct The Sunshine Harvester Works down in Fremantle’s East End.

Led by RoyAl’s brothers Al and Ken Craigie and good mate Adam Crook, Al Pastor Taqueria &Tequila Bar is promising authentic Mexican street food vibes – think proper proteins, fresh corn tortillas and a dedicated salsa bar with flavours covering the full taste and spice spectrum.

Their signature protein will be marinated rotisserie pork, but there will also be longanisa (Spanish chorizo), chicken, beef short ribs and vego options. In addition, they’ll be running a killer tequila-based bar, with cocktails, Mexican beers and more.

They’re obviously feeling pretty chuffed about things and will kick start with a bang the weekend commencing March 6. The Friday night will be a grand opening featuring the full menu, and then on the Saturday (March 7) from 3pm-10pm they’ll be slinging 1000 free tacos!

From then on business as usual will also feature $2 Taco Tuesdays, with further live music and DJ entertainment down the track.

As if The Sunshine Harvester Works wasn’t already sounding delicious with the likes of Bumplings, Fish Boss and Short Order, Al Pastor is just gonna make your choice even harder – it’s sounding like multiple visits are in order.
