It’s not an uncommon sight to find us perched up at La Cholita, diving into a bowl of those delicious tortilla chips and quac or throwing back a couple of micheladas – or some spicy margs if we’re feeling spicy ourselves!

One of Perth’s OG Mexican joints, the taqueria sure knows how to craft a margarita – whether you fancy yours chilli-infused, Tommy’s or even tamarind-flavoured.
To celebrate the drink of all drinks, the amigos at La Cholita will be throwing their first ever Margarita Festival!
Running over the 3rd and 4th of February, the festival will be taking over the laneway and transforming their little pocket of Northbridge into a delicious slice of Mexico City.
Grab your marg on entry and hit up the pop-up La Cholita food stalls (can’t go past that Baja fish taco), or try your luck at the giant piñata! As well as the three bars keeping everyone well-hydrated, DJs will be on deck to keep the fiesta pumping.
