A Huge New Brewery Is Opening On The Busselton Foreshore Next Month

When you think of iconic WA destinations the huge Little Creatures Brewery down in the Fremantle Boat Harbour definitely springs to mind.

And that’s vibe Shelter Brewing Co. will be going for when they launch their new brewery right across from the world renowned Busselton Jetty at the end of October.

Licensed to hold a whopping 650 people, it’s set to become a south west destination venue very quickly over the coming summer.

The sustainably built and maintained space (80% of the brewery’s power will come from a 100-kilowatt solar panel system) has been in the works since 2014.

The venue will have a top floor function room, beer garden, lounge area, long inside bar and an open plan kitchen/restaurant.

It’ll also be home to a coffee and bagel cafe in the mornings.

It’ll also provide a nice little jobs boon for the people of Busso, with 40-60 workers set to be hired in the coming weeks.

“But what about the beer?!” we hear you ask.

While we don’t know specifics, they’ll be brewing five different beers and one cider on site, with we’re sure plenty of other local crafties on offer.
