Ever been sat at the pub and thought you could create a top-quality beer? We have!

Well for one local legend, that thought became reality when she won the ‘Create Your Kegacy’ competition with Little Creatures and Liquor Barons.

Ravensthorpe local Stevie Smart won the coveted competition and has created Little Towns Crispy Lager, and it is now available at all Liquor Barons stores across WA.

Under the watchful eye of the master brewers at Little Creatures’ Fremantle Brewery, Stevie created her limited-edition lager.

The intelligent Ms Smart said her beer was inspired by the charm of small towns across our state and of course their welcoming country pubs.

“My Little Towns Crispy Lager is an ode to the small, welcoming country towns in WA where people travel far and wide to catch up at the local pub,” she said. “With a crisp, refreshing taste it’s the perfect companion for hot summer days, a cold beer in hand and yarn with your mates is all you need, no matter the occasion.”

The whole creative process was handed over to Stevie as part of her competition win so the flavours, the name, the design of the can and packaging are all down to her.

“Collaborating with passionate beer lovers like Stevie is what makes our craft so special,” Russell Gosling, Head Brewer at Little Creatures said. “Little Towns Crispy Lager is a fantastic brew that reflects the spirit of WA’s close-knit communities, and we’re thrilled to see it come to life, and confident it’s going to be a crowd pleaser.”

Little Towns Crispy Lager has a 4.8% ABV and will be available for purchase from late September at Liquor Barons stores across the WA.

“We are eager to see Little Towns Crispy Lager hit the Liquor Barons shelves, bringing people together across WA,” added Liquor Barons Marketing Manager Eliza Schwab.

If you thought having your own beer was a great competition prize, well Stevie also won a year’s supply of Little Creatures and tickets to the Fremantle Beer Fest 2024!
