Every Saturday morning, the aptly-named El Taco Guru sets up shop at Highgate’s Daily Dose Coffee Bar. The low-key coffee window (one of our favourites in the area) is well worth a visit anytime of the week, not just for their excellent brews but their legendary toasties. On Saturdays though? It’s a must-try, with some hangover-busting, life-affirming tacos on offer.
Cruise up to the window for your choice of classic pork carnitas, vegan chorizo or the always enticing brisket birria – tender, gooey with melted cheese and made extra delicious with the accompanying consommé.
