The best Happy Hours around Perth

Sometimes, after a long and hard day at work, all you want is a drink in your hand while you unload to your mates at the pub.

The only thing that can make that image even better is by adding cheap(er) drinks to the mix. Lucky for you there’s plenty of opportunities around town to do exactly that:

PERTH CBD / NORTHBRIDGE

BAHA

Head up to level one of Adnate Perth to the light and airy poolside surrounds of BAHA, serving up a delightful happy hour from 5-6pm on Monday through to Saturday. There you can enjoy either $8 tap beers or house wines, or get a little bit fancier with $15 select cocktails.

Flight Club

Can you work out your work frustrations on a dart board? We’re not exactly sure, but their 5-6pm Happy Hour specials certainly won’t hurt! Pop in for $10 proseccos, $10 pints of Pirate Life South Coast Pale Ale and cider and $10 sparkling glasses, plus if you’re keen to throw some darts on Tuesday it’s half price!

The Globe

Monday-Friday between 4.30pm and 5.30pm The Globe rocks discounted $9 pints, $7 house wines and $10 espresso martinis.

The Generous Squire

Not only does The Generous Squire make one of Perth’s best smashed burgers, they’re also slinging $9.50 pints, $7 wines and $7 house spirits from 12-1pm and 5-6pm.

Fenians

One of the city’s finest Irish pubs also knows their way around a happy hour, offering $9.50 pints of tap beers from 5-6pm, Monday-Friday.

Ezra Pound

Every week night Ezra Pound rocks some great little deals, but head down there from 5-6pm and you’ll find yourself a selection of $6 house wines or $6 selected taps!

Bar 399

The now-bustling northern end of William Street ain’t short on great spots for an after-work drink, but Bar 399‘s Happy Hour is hard to go past. Score yourself $8 pints, $7 house wines or $8 spirits from 5-6pm.

NORTH OF THE RIVER

The Rosemount Hotel

On top of a mouth-watering menu, weekdays from 4pm the Rosemount Hotel discounts their impressive tap selection with $8 pints and $6 wines.

El Grotto

One of the best Scarborough beach hangs has launched Golden Hours! From 4-6pm every day you can cop $10 margs, $6 lagers and 3-for-2 tacos – hot damn.

The Peach Pit

Head to the seaside and Peach Pit for bargain $10 signature cocktails, $9 pints and $7 wines that can be purchased between 5-6pm every weekday.

Scarborough Beach Bar

This Scarborough favourite’s Happy Hour is bound to make you very happy from 5-6pm. Half price tap spritzes, $8 pints and $6 proseccos every weekday ensures this bar keeps to its promise of great prices with stunning views.

3Sheets on the Lake / 3Sheets on the Harbour

From Monday to Thursday at both 3Sheets venues you can score $8 3Sheets pits and $7 House wines from 5-6pm, while the Lake also does it on Fridays! 3Sheets on the Harbour also rocks a $10 spritz special on Saturdays and Sundays from 3-5pm.

The Breakwater

Head down to the Breakwater throughout the week from 5pm to enjoy $8 pints and wines, $11 cocktails and $15 Veuve Clicquot.

The Woodvale Tavern

A bit further up on the map, this traditional British pub is serving $6 spirits, $8 beers and $6 wines from 4.30-5.30pm every day.

The Brook

It may be all the way out in Ellenbrook, but you’re basically making money at $7 for a pint between 5 and 6pm, every day of the week at The Brook!

SOUTH OF THE RIVER

Victoria Park Hotel

If you feel like knocking off at 4pm (and who doesn’t most days?) head to the Vic for their 4.30-5.30pm Happy Hour, including $9 pints and house wines, $12 espresso martinis and $10 Homegrown Spritzes.

The Raffles Hotel

Every day from 5-6pm The Raffles Hotel offers $8 pints and $8 glasses of wine, all you need to do is order via your mobile to claim the discount – easy!

Patio

Freo’s newest fave hang hasn’t forgotten about the joys of a good happy hour, though we guess it’s more happy days, with $6 schooeys most of the time on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

The National Hotel

Fremantle’s National Hotel is an old, local favourite, which we’re sure is in part thanks to their regular rotation of happy hours throughout the week, which more often than not actually go for at least a couple of hours! At the moment they’re rocking $7.50 pints.

Jungle Bird

Another Fremantle staple, this groovy bar has something different for every night of the week along with $6 house wines and $5 schooners Monday-Thursday from 4-6pm. From there it’s dangerous – we’re talking $10 Mai Tai Mondays, Wino Wednesdays (40% off bottled wines) and more.

Sweetwater Rooftop

Drinking and dining on a delightful East Fremantle rooftop is already special enough, however their Happy Hour has been keeping patrons even happier for a long time now. Cop an early dinner from 5-6pm featuring $12 food plates, $12 selected cocktails, $10 selected spirits and $8 beers.

The Vale Bar and Brasserie

Weekdays between 4.30 and 5.30pm and weekends from 2.30-3.30pm Beeliar’s brightest bistro slings $10 cocktails, $8 pints, and $6 wine specials – cheers! You can also cop $7 Swanny D’s from 3-6pm on Fridays, along with a crazy range of dinner and lunch specials throughout the week.

The Wray Hotel

The pub formerly known as the Beaconsfield has some epic meal deals on all week, along with $8 pints during Happy Hour, and $8 pints of Swan Draught all hours!

EAST

Guildford Hotel

The weekday wind-down starts at The Guildford Hotel from 5-6pm where you’ll find $9 House Wines and $9 House Tap Beers.

Bassendean Hotel

Monday to Friday from 5-6pm you’ll score daily happy hour sips including $8 house wines and $10 selected tap beers.

Woodbridge Hotel

Every Monday to Friday between 4:30 and 5:30pm enjoy some serious special including $6 house wines and sparkling, $9 tap beers and $9 house spirits.
