The Best Raw Cafes Around Perth
In case you hadn’t seen, the world’s going to hell in a hand basket out there…
Alright so we’re being a teeny bit dramatic, but there’s definitely no time like the present to start eating a little better not just for you, but for the environment.
Below are some of the best raw food-based cafés around Perth. We’ve stretched the ~rawles~ a little bit, but everywhere listed below has sustainability, along with ethically and organically sourced produce, on its green little mind:
Eat. Drink. Raw
Initially beginning as a food delivery option, Eat. Drink. Raw now reside permanently on Hay St and West Perth, and has been doing its darndest to keep the West Perth worker bees as healthy as possible over the past few years. The plant-based lunch options will fill you right up, they pack some delicious little treats to treat yourself afterwards, and don’t charge extra for plant-based milks – win, win, win.
1224 Hay Street, West Perth
The Raw Kitchen
From humble beginnings down in Freo The Raw Kitchen has become a one-stop shop for ethical and sustainable living. Their stunning 1920s warehouse space not only serves delicious plant-based meals alongside a huge selection of natural wines, it also triples as a lifestyle store and yoga/studio space available for hire. So if you like a slice of education with your guilt free eating, The Raw Kitchen should be right up top of your list.
181A High Street, Fremantle
Raw + More
Just down the road from Eat. Drink. Raw lies another special little raw delight, Raw + More, specialising in plant-based breaky/lunch options to go with epic smoothies and coffees. It’s down a little alleyway off Hay St, and once you discover it you’ll be cold-pressed to leave.
1267 Hay Street, West Perth
Little Raw Deli
This little slice of heaven in Carlisle can be easy to miss on the drive-by, but an absolute must stop-in. Their menu is entirely wheat, meat, dairy and refined sugar free. Somehow the latter even applies to their ultra-decadent Snickers and Ferrero Pancakes. They have a huge range of rotating salads daily, just team ‘em up with some spring rolls or a slice of raw pizza.
8/29 Archer Street, Carlisle
The Little Shop Of Plenty
If you’re heading to this magical Maylands spot you may want to clear your schedule for the morning. The lush, green café is super spacious, and you’ll want to stay a while to soak in the peaceful surrounds and plant-based perfection. They have a HUGE menu, one that is incredibly well priced and will leave you feeling full and most importantly, full of goodness.
217 Railway Parade, Maylands
Juicy Beetroot Café
A not so hidden secret down Freo way, Juicy Beetroot Café is a mysterious mistress, tucked away off High Street, and only open for a few hours over lunch every day. As such it gets very busy, but if you can get there on time you’ll be treated to some of the heartiest salads in the south. The serves are generous, the prices are generous in the other direction, and it’s definitely worth seeking out.
132 High St, Fremantle
Raw Raw Raw
Another hard-to-reach Freo gem is Raw Raw Raw, if only because you can only dive in when the Fremantle Markets are open. Don’t be tempted by other market fare and dive into their massive selection of salads, or branch out into an Acai Bowl. And as a pat on the back for being good, make sure you treat yourself to one of their healthy, gluten/dairy/sugar free desserts.

Rohu Bure
While everywhere on this list does stock a healthy array of sweet treats, if you really wanna go all out Roho Bure in Leederville and South Fremantle has to end your environmentally healthy dining experience. They hand make small batch dairy free, gluten free, sugar free and vegan ice creams that are as unique as they are delectable.
