Sometimes you just need a tasty red, crisp white and/or glass of bubbles to truly begin your weekend and what better place to treat yourself than in Perth’s stunning Swan Valley wineries.

Sandalford Winery

The first entry to this list has been in operation since 1840 making it one of the oldest and most prolific wineries in WA. Rich with history, Sandalford’s portfolio of wines are recognised as world class and attract attention from every corner of the globe. The estate boasts a delectable European restaurant and hosts a range of outdoor social events.

Chapel Farm Estate

Operating as a farm for 90 years, Chapel Farm combined with the Jane Brook Estate to transform into the home grown hotspot it is today. The estate contains two venues onsite, the original homestead of Chapel Farm which contains a funky bar and restaurant and the Estate at Chapel Farm which operates as the winery and function area.

Ugly Duckling Wines

If it’s a picturesque rustic getaway with locally grown wines your heart desires, look no further than Ugly Ducklings. Overlooking the magnificent vines and easily recognisable yellow tractor that you’ve definitely seen all over Insta, is a cozy cottage (dogs welcome) serving up gourmet pies and platters, with live music on the weekends and occasional markets to keep things interesting.

Olive Farm Wines

Olive Farm Wines is a 4th generation winery established in 1829 which produces wine from 100% Swan Valley grown fruit. Offering delicious tastings and tours, this spot is perfect for wine connoisseurs and anyone interested in the wine-making process.
