This brand new Scarbs spot is slinging some standout sandwiches
We’re simple folk – we hear the word sandwich and our ears perk right up.
Hitting the heart of Scarborough at the end of May, Two Slices Sandwich Bar managed to pique our interest immediately – our intrigue amplified by the sight of fluffy, freshly-baked focaccia.

Between those slabs of fluffy focaccia? If you’re feeling creative, build your own sandwich from the cabinet of ingredients: freshly sliced mortadalla, prosciutto, porchetta, ham or salami, dollops of stracciatella, various antipasti. Fresh herbs and salad are picked about as locally as you can get – from two glowing, spaceship-esque planters in the centre of the store.
The real excitement comes from the spread action, though: schmears of spicy nduja, pistachio, pecorino or onion cream, truffle or olive spread. We’re lost in the sauce!
If you’re feeling the decision fatigue, let Two Slices take the wheel with one of their picks – whether you’re going nuts for the mortadella-laden Mr Pistachio, the honey-drizzled Salami Buzz or Spicy Porchetta.
As well as made to order sandwiches, winter days are warmed by a rotating soup of the day, as well as a selection of focaccia-turned-pizza al taglio.
Two Slices Sandwich Bar is open seven days, and is located at 23 Scarborough Beach Road, Scarborough.
