The Twilight Hawkers Market, WA’s original (and biggest) street food market is making its triumphant return to the streets of Perth this Friday, albeit with a little twist thrown in to get the ball rolling!
Running over summer from every Friday night from 4.30pm until 9.30pm, they’re kicking off the season with a special one-off event Friday 13 November to launch the new Hay Street Pedestrian Precinct.
Starting on the corner of Hay Street and Irwin Street, the 150 metre long precinct ends on the corner of Hay Street and Irwin Street in the newly constructed public space, Kaal yimniny.
And before returning to its usual location in Forrest Place from next Friday onwards, you can enjoy up to 35 food stalls in the new Hay Street Precinct this Friday.
There’ll also be Welcome To Country and Smoking Ceremony courtesy of Uncle Ben, and an official opening with the new Lord Mayor.
There’ll also be roving entertainers, live music and new public arts to be enjoyed along with the delicious food offerings from around the globe.
