If you thought escape rooms couldn’t get any spookier, think again! From the same maniacs who brought us Australia’s most extreme escape room, Buried Alive, comes an immersive Halloween experience that will have you thoroughly unnerved.
Escape This is no ordinary escape room centre – located in a heritage-listed building in the heart of Northbridge (the site of 12 deaths, no less!), their Halloween event is taking things to the next level.
Did you see that? We swear we just saw something in the corner of our eye…
In their Hall of Horrors, escape rooms including The Haunting, Cannibal and Dracula are sure to have you hearing things go bump in the night for days and weeks after your escape – that’s if you make it out alive in the first place!
AND to up the spook factor even more this Halloween, they’ll be hosting a limited run of late-night ‘witching hour’ escape sessions at 11pm on October 30 and 12:30am on October 31 to see in All Hallows’ Eve. Midnight in a haunted building trying to outwit Dracula and Creepy Cathy, not to mention the souls of those 12 deceased residents… that honestly sounds way too scary for us, but we know you lot love this stuff!
The entire Lake Street venue will be taken over with Halloween spirits including live performers, eerie fog, jack-o-lanterns and decorations to complete the festivities and lure in the unsuspecting trick-or-treaters amongst us.
So grab your crew of escape artists, get them dressed up in costume, rock up for your booked escape and you could even win your Haunted Halloween Escape Room experience for free! And for all the kiddies and scaredy-cats among us, there are family-friendly activities planned in daylight hours across the Halloween weekend.
