Fred Again.. watch: Langley Park show announcement coming sometime this week
[UPDATE]: Residents surrounding Langley Park have been sent letters notifying them of an upcoming concert on March 30, with events company FUZZY also looking for bar staff the same day – more below…
Remember when we didn’t stop hearing the word “unprecedented” for a while there a couple of years ago?
Can’t remember what that was all about, but it’s a word that’s definitely been resurrected in the past few weeks around British producer Fred Again..’s absolutely insane ability to sellout huge shows in Australia at a moment’s notice.
After a few sneaky Instagram teases that lead up to a small Sydney Opera House show, the affable young chap from South London went on to sell out seven east coast shows at well over 100,000 tickets in what felt like a minute (and was actually only like five).
And it’s left the rest of the country wondering, ‘Well surely he wouldn’t come all this way not to pop over to Adelaide and/or Perth, right?’
Rumours are beginning to gather a bit of steam that he could be bringing a show, along with supporting act and lovely artists in their own right, Joy Anonymous, to the west at the end of this month.

After doing a little sleuthing ourselves, residents around Langley Park were sent letters last week notifying them of a single-stage music event as part of the “Perth Summer Concert Series” on Saturday 30 March, along with road closure notices from the City of Perth.
National events and touring company FUZZY have also sent out shift offers to their mailing list, looking for bar staff at Langley Park on March 30 from 5pm until 11pm.
Last month local promoters The Vault put the call out to Fred Again.. saying they’ll donate all profits from a Fred Again.. show to a local children’s charity – check it below:
