Cheers & Beers: Froth Town Is Bringing All The Brews Back To Claremont Showgrounds

If you like beers, booze, food, games, good times, rides, live music and entertainment (and let’s face it, who doesn’t?), then mark August 19 and 20 in your diaries for the return of Froth Town.

Once again taking over Claremont Showgrounds, it promises to be another action-packed weekend with three massive sessions across two days – ‘F*Yeah Friday’ and ‘Super Saturday’ for big kids, plus ‘Saturday-For-It’ welcoming families with roving entertainment and activities for the kids.

Bar Pop Director Chris Bausor is understandably excited, and looking forward to sharing some new brands to WA punters, saying “We’re super stoked to introduce a stall for Better Beer, Garage Project, North West Brewing Co, Phat Brew Club and Fox Friday Craft Brewery and be pouring froths from Heaps Normal, Coast, Aqua Boogie and One Drop Brewing from our kegtainer bar.”

In welcome news for previous punters they’re bringing back the IPA Glass with tickets, collaborating with Rocky Ridge Brewing Co this time around.

“Another massive comeback is live music! We have the ACDC Tribute Band headlining F*Yeah Friday. Local legends EMA and Neon for Saturday-For It, plus Felix and Atomic for Super Saturday hitting the outdoor stage which will no doubt make all sessions a bloody vibe,” says Bausor.

Smack bang in the centre will be a wrestling ring which will host pure enjoyment with plenty of lols such as the Froth Town sumo wrestling where punters can get into suits and go at it, live wrestling show by amateur wrestlers, Varsity Hot Wings Challenge, Froth Town Hot Dog Eating Comp, Campus Brewing Cake Eating Contest and our beloved Froth Dad Bod Wet T-Shirt Comp!
