Little Creatures Is Celebrating 20 Years With A Huge Carpark Party Later This Month
Fremantle institution and craft brewery trailblazers Little Creatures are celebrating their 20th birthday in epic style later this month with a two day carpark takeover.
The Little Creatures “Village” (Dining Hall, Harbourside + Carpark) will host a variety of local performers, DJs, local art exhibitions, comedy and more from noon til late on both November 28 and 29.
They’ll also be unveiling a special new brew – the Celebration Ale – to mark the occasion, with punters being the first to try it.
In addition, they’re teaming up with Four Pillars gin for a special gin and cider event on Harbourside’s glorious terrace on both days.
It all started back in 2000 when a group beer-frothing friends decided to transform Freo’s old crocodile farm into a brewery, with an eye towards developing their perfect brew – a hop-driven American Pale Ale.
A beer you now know and love as the Little Creatures Pale Ale.
Since then they expanded into a full brewhouse and Dining Hall, along with a new brewery on the east side in Geelong.
“To kick off our 20th Birthday celebrations, we are proud to announce that we will be donating $20,000 to GIVIT’s COVID-19 Appeal, with proceeds going to people right across Australia to assist them with much-needed household items during this tough time,” Tom Batros, Venue Manger at Little Creatures Fremantle said.
“This year also marks an incredible milestone for Little Creatures – in April this year we are proud to say that both of our Australian breweries achieved carbon neutral accreditation! That means every time you crack open a Little Creatures beer, or sip a pint at one of our venues, you can do so in the knowledge that they have been brewed at our carbon neutral breweries.”

Talk about spreading the Freo, environmentally-minded cheer!
As for the Celebration Ale, it showcases two new hops – the HPA 016 and NZ Hops ‘Nectatron’, featuring passionfruit, citrus peel and pine aromas with a malt base and dash of spiced rye.
It’ll be on tap for the party, and then available at selected venues around the country.
“Celebration Ale pays homage to Little Creatures’ past, present and future. It’s double dry-hopped using two exciting new hops to make it the perfect brew to welcome in the next decade! Bring it on!” said Russell Gosling, Little Creatures Head Brewer.
