Where To Celebrate New Year’s Eve Around Perth This Year

The time has almost come to put 2020 in the rear view mirror, and we suspect many of you are chomping at the bit to do exactly that this December 31.
And while things can surely only go up in 2021 (famous last words, we know), there’s no reason you can’t send 2020 off in style at one of a HEAP of events around Perth.
Here’s a bunch of the best (that haven’t sold out yet), and we’ll keep adding new ones as we find them!
Bar Pop New Year’s Eve
Perth’s biggest party purveyors may currently be spreading the good time cheer in Brisbane, but they’ll be back for an all-new New Year’s event for the ages. Just recently getting government approval to go ahead, they’ll be taking over a new home at Optus Stadium’s Stadium Park with an extravaganza of lights, sound, music, food and more. There’ll be 15 themed bars from some of Perth’s most popular boozeries and breweries, some epic food trucks, sideshow alley games and rides and more. Love Hadiqa NYE
The glorious Hadiqa rooftop makes for the perfect New Year’s Eve destination, and they’ll be pulling out all the stops to make it a special one. Sparkling on arrival, glitter makeup, belly dancers, snake handlers, cocktail specials, DJs and more await, with two ticket options to choose from including an authentic Moroccan sit down dinner option.
NYE At The Quay At Kartel
They’ve just set back up at their old stomping ground on Elizabeth Quay, and Kartel Bar will be firing up for a massive New Year’s party running from 5pm-1am. Relax in their urban oasis early before getting your boogie on to the likes of DJ Fdel, DJ Zel and DJ Noah, with a massive amount of bars and food courtesy of Soul Provider.
NYE At Heritage Wine Bar
Looking for something a little cruisier? Why not settle into a mammoth 6-course menu at The Heritage Wine Bar from 7.30pm, with an epic wine pairing to boot (along with a glass of bubbly at midnight, of course). It’ll set you back $150, but given Heritage Wine Bar’s track record we reckon that’s an absolute steal.
Flick Off 2020 At The Stables
The Stables will be flicking 2020 off in typical Stables fashion with a couple of choice options for a big night. Their Bottomless Dinner from 8pm-2am feeds you a huge 4-course meal paired with three hours of bottomless cocktail creations, Veuve Clicquot, wine beer and more. Meanwhile the Courtyard Party runs from 7pm-2am and will put a nice glass of bubbles in your hand on arrival, and plenty of tunes courtesy of a legendary local DJ lineup to keep you moving.
NYE Goody Two’s – Get Your Glam On
Camfield NYE 2020
Make New Years’ Eve a large one at the southern hemisphere’s largest pub The Camfield, featuring huge tunes from DJs Boston Switch and DJ Mizhap. There’ll be a countdown on the big screen and fireworks to set you free of 2020.

NYE At Bobeche
Take your NYE party underground to Bobeche where you’ll enjoy a signature Teapot Cocktail on arrival along with delicious nibbles like freshly-shucked oysters, artisanal meat and cheese platters, croquettes, triple-cooked chips and more. The entertainment really kicks off just before midnight, and a glass of fizz will be politely placed in your hand as the clock strikes 12.
State Buildings
The State Buildings’ various quality venues have it all going on over New Year’s, it’s almost too much to choose! Post, Wildflower and Petition will be hosting some delicious dinner menus to dine and drink the night away, likewise Long Chim. Meanwhile the latest edition to the State Buildings family, Pooles Temple, will be hosting their first New Year’s Eve – a glorious evening of luscious live jazz, French-inspired delicacies and champagne and cocktails to your heart’s content.
Dancing In Space At Henry Summer
The Henry Summer garden bar will once again be taken over by the disco deviants at Dancing In Space for a future funk-fuelled New Year’s Eve. The venue will have three different stages soundtracked with the best house, disco and R&B going around.

Alice Gin Wonderland At The Flour Factory
Gin lovers need look no further than heading down the rabbit hole at The Flour Factory for the opening night of their upcoming Alice Gin Wonderland series. There’s three most charming experiences to choose from, including free entry from 4pm, the Bar Party from 7-9pm, or the Mad Hatter’s NYE Dinner Party from 5pm!

NYE On The Raft
Perth’s new waterbound venue has been having a smooth summer so far, and their White Party New Year’s event will be taking things up a notch. Featuring spritz on arrival, decadent canapes and tunes courtesy of some of Perth’s finest local DJs, if it’s a slice of glamour you’re looking for to end 2020 than look no further.
New Year’s Eve At The Windsor
The Windsor is hosting a couple of different parties to suit your vibe with the Garden Bar Disco Prohibition Soirée, or the Mends St Hangin’ Loose Party. The former will be a debaucherous night of fun with DJs rocking the d-floor til late and $10 Espresso Martinis, while the latter will be a little more laidback with free live music, $9 Ogden beers and more.

NYE At Si Paradiso
Delve into a delicious dinner early before partying all night in the Si courtyard to send out 2020 in Perth’s prettiest courtyard. The Dining Room ticket gets you some incredible eats from Paul Bentley, think crabs, lobster, oysters, pizza and more. Then the amphitheatre will be taken over by local DJs Larry D, Father Figures and Mike Midnight.
Jazz On The Beach At Coast
Coast will be kicking off their summer series of events in exceptional style this New Year’s Eve with Jazz On The Beach, an opportunity to catch the best jazz band in Perth while you watch the last sunset of 2020. There’ll also be a DJ to finish the night off in grooving style, some ridiculous drink specials and great food across two stages and four bars that stretches out onto the beach front.
A 1920’s New Year’s Eve At The Royal
It’s a night of glitz and glamour at The Royal this New Year’s Eve with their 1920s-themed party featuring a drink upon arrival, complimentary access to the karaoke room, poker tables and more. Think underground New York parties where the booze was banned but free-flowing, and the tassels were twirling.
Spacey Jane At Fremantle Arts Centre
One of WA’s biggest bands right now (seriously, they’re a proper dark horse for the Hottest 100 this year), Spacey Jane are inviting fans and friends to say good riddance to 2020 with a huge hometown bash at one of Perth’s most beautiful venues, the Fremantle Arts Centre. They’ll be joined by good pals Carla Geneve and Supathick plus DJs Medium Well and Reid Bevan.
Mi Casa NYE Adios 2020 At The Rechabite
If you’re looking for a bit spice and salsa at your New Year’s Eve party, Perth’s Number 1 Latin Club will be taking over The Rechabite for one epic discoteca. Expect the Mi Casa DJs, Yambeque Salsa Band, Pasaro Artisan Cachaca Caipirinhas Promotions, an interactive countdown and more.
NYE Queenschella At The Queens
The Queens Hotel is going full boho vibes for New Year’s, transforming into the Queenschella Festival and open until 2am! Nab a $70 3-hour drinks package and enjoy cocktail specials, multiple stages, food truck specials and even tarot card readings!

NYE 2020 Block Party At The Balmoral
The Balmoral is saying Bye Felicia to 2020, and they’ve lined up an epic long table event in the restaurant to kick off the festivities. For $65 a head you’ll get a two-hour bottomless drinks package and 5 Balmoral tapas-style share plates from 7.30pm til 9.30pm. There’s also free entry to the bar, mojito icey poles, live music and more til 2am.

Besk
Besk will be rocking incredible street food and drink specials from 4pm until 2am, with the tunes provided by a selection of RTRFM’s finest DJs including Rok Riley, Willy Slade and Will Backler. Tickets are only $25 and include a drink on arrival, so we suggest not sleeping on it.

Social.NYE At Freo Social
For an Afro Funk-fuelled New Year’s Eve saunter on down to Freo Social where dreamgirl Grace Barbé will be joined by the The Bambuseae Rhythm Section for a multi-stage, full venue party to remember. It runs from 8pm til 2am, and tickets are only $30!
