Call it Perth pride, but we feel pretty comfortable saying Optus Stadium is one of the world’s best sports stadiums.

2020 however saw it sadly under-utilised (for obvious and understandable reasons), but that’s all set to change with a busy summer ahead.

Along with the Big Bash League coming to the ground in the New Year, the big arena has just launched Stadium Park Karts.

That’s right, you can now race around one of the world’s most beautiful stadiums in specially designed Ricciardo Karts, developed by WA’s favourite racing son and F1 contender, Daniel Ricciardo.

The 730m track winds around and through the stadium, offering unique views of it along with the Matagarup Bridge and surrounding areas.

We had the opportunity to go for a little spin last week and can confirm it’s an exhilarating experience.

Stadium Park Karts are suitable for all ages and abilities, with dual karts available for people requiring assistance.

Open from 10am-7pm every day, there can be up to 20 karts on the track at the time, making for some pretty great potential races with family, friends or work colleagues, plus you can fuel up with some great meal deals at the City View Cafe close by.

For more info and to get booking, head to the Stadium Park Karts WEBSITE.
