The Pickle District will be hosting a family-friendly festival later this month with the first ever Pickle After Noon!

The free festival will be taking over the West Perth arts precinct from 3PM to 9PM, bringing together the precinct’s unique creative forces for a day for the whole family.

Photography and event space Fridays Studio will host the Pickle Market, with stalls from delicious small batch, local producers including the Mulberry Pig, Small Batch Gourmet, Rickles Pickles, inabitofapickle, Shipstone Chilli Co, Loco Lepus Designs, Pickled and Woolly, Building Friendships, L’atelier Gourmet, Epicurean Foodie and more.

If that’s got your mouth watering, as well as Old Habits slinging drinks, there’ll also be a special Pickle Bar on deck for all your favourite pickle-based cocktails, pickle beer plus local wines and brews, and American-style eats. And speaking of decks – DJs Pickle Riki and Yon Jovi will be spinning tunes for maximum vibes.

Soak up the precinct’s art with a visit to the Holmes à Court Gallery for the Mandorla Art Award exhibition, and the VOXLAB laneway for a paste up exhibition featuring artwork by local photographers and designers.

Or, try your own hand at some crafty creation with House of Hobby’s Pottery & Wine workshop, where you’ll create your own Pickle Palettes for the ultimate briney snack selection.

If that wasn’t enough, West Perth cinema the Backlot will be screening a short film every hour – including Rick and Morty’s infamous Pickle Rick episode.
