One of the weird little things we lost the ability to during COVID-19 was go to weekend markets!

And over the past couple of months we’ve seen many popular Perth markets pop back up, something which will only get better as the days get warmer.

This weekend sees the return of the All Things Vintage Markets crew, kicking off with a huge All Things Recycled Clothing Market!

Taking place from 9am-2pm at the Kalamunda Performing Arts Centre, entry is only $3 (free for kids) and gives you access to over 35 sellers.

It’s a fantastic way to re-stock the wardrobe without breaking the bank while also helping out the environment.

As the organisers say: “When you buy secondhand and recycle your clothes you are doing us all a big favour. You are not just saving on landfill, you maybe helping others overseas receive clothes they would not have access too. Closing the loop is all about keeping things in circulation, reducing energy and labour costs. Using less resources. There are huge benefits.”

Plus a few other things to note

– responsible and safe environment in line with our state government restrictions;
– Coffee and food vans;
– Plastic free event – please BYO bags;
– Free entry for kids and kids corner for nursing mothers;
– Change rooms.

And if you’re into your vintage gear, head back out to the hills November 2 for the All Things Vintage Car Boot Sale, which we can personally confirm is full of awesome little treasures.
