RTRFM’s Iconic In The Pines Festival Announces A Stacked 2022 Lineup

As far as live music events go in Western Australia, one of the longest-running and most-beloved is RTRFM 92.1’s In The Pines. Set within the spectacular surrounds of UWA’s Somerville Auditorium, it has seen some of WA’s best acts grace the stage, along with being the making of many an emerging artist in its 28 year history.

This morning the community radio station announced this year’s lineup, with 20 awesome local artists taking to the stage on Sunday 4 September – a little later than usual from its usual April date to ensure there’s no need for masks or restrictions on capacities.

As for the lineup, it’s a lesson in the movers and shakers around Perth in 2022:

Running from 11am until 10pm, not only is it a fantastic snapshot of WA music over the past year, it’s just a delightful day out for friends and family with food trucks Jumplings, Piadina Sandwich Bar, Really Good and Korean Street Bros on site, plus coffee from The Little Wheel-Bar-O along with a licensed bar.
