The Summer holidays are a great time to visit Scitech’s West Perth headquarters – the cool, action-packed indoor spaces making a nice break from trips to hot and crowded beaches or shopping centres. And this Summer Scitech have a huge program to keep curious minds very stimulated while they’re on break from school.

2. Things That Glow Show
Chevron Science Theatre

While light is a natural part of everyday life, that doesn’t mean it can’t be exciting! The Things That Glow Show entertains with explosive fireballs, curious chemistry, the wonders of UV, laser light and more.

3. We Are Aliens
Planetarium

Sit back, relax and look to the skies in Scitech’s incredible planetarium dome  as you join scientists searching for life beyond Earth. Learn about recent microscopic lifeform discoveries and the similar conditions to our planet found on others in outer space.

4. Gumby’s Birthday
Puppet Theatre

Gumby, Scitech’s original puppet theatre tree, turns 200 years old (!) these holidays, and kids can join  her animal friends on stage for some extra special birthday celebrations.

Rio Tinto Tinkering Space

The future is sustainability, and in the Rio Tinto Tinkering Space you can learn how to build a sustainable suburb by reusing materials in a collaborative green neighbourhood.
