Scitech Is Launching Some Great New Experiences For The April School Holidays!
We love our Scitech on school holidays, and for the next couple of weeks over April they’re bringing the heat (and cold, and rain) with a brand new collection of shows:, Rain, Hail Or Shine.
Indeed, their beloved Science Centre will be transformed into a weather station featuring a variety of special new shows and live experiences that’ll give you and the kids plenty to do and of course, learn.

The Perfect Firestorm
Exploring how weather and fires interact, The Perfect Firestorm is an exciting yet safe way to understand how weather conditions create firestorms through a series of sizzling demonstrations.
One Fine Day
Gumby the gumtree and Gotcha the goanna are joined by a few pals in the interactive, One Fine Day puppet show helping kids aged 3-7 understand what impact changes in weather have on not only our everyday life, but the lives of all living things.
In addition to the new shows, you’ll also find:
- A Little Space, a 10-minute show in the Planetarium designed for toddlers;
- Habitat Earth, a Planetarium show exploring how different species on Earth interact in complex relationships;
- Earth Matters, investigating sustainable solutions to rethink the future;
- Kaartadjin Koorliny, an immersive experience featuring pneumatic pipes, a perception tunnel, musical lighting and more;
- and Discoverland, an area designed for kids under 6 to collaborate with their families and explore science early on.
