Shake A Tail Feather At Soul Spectacular This Saturday

After months of doing the right thing and staying safely indoors, we’ve got no doubt there’s plenty of you ready to get out there and have a seriously good time.

With restrictions easing, the opportunities to do so are coming thick-and-fast, and City of Gosnells are throwing a swinging soiree at the Maddington Recreation Ground this Saturday called Boogie in the Big Top Soul Spectacular.

Featuring 11-piece rhythm and blues outfit the Milford Street Shakers, it’ll be a night of fun, frivolity and dancing to the sounds of classic Motown and 60s soul music.

They’ll be taking groovers on a journey across the 60s, paying tribute to the likes of Aretha Franklin, James Brown, Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder and more.

In addition to the soulful selections, there’ll also be a licensed bar and a heap of food trucks on site, plus you’ll get unlimited rides on the Dream Swinger.

Going down this Saturday 4 July from 7.30pm, tickets are only $20 for this 18+ event, and with crowd numbers strictly limited to meet COVID-19 requirements, we suggest booking now to grab your ticket.
